Professor Irvin Waller of the Department of Criminology has been recognized as the only non-American in the Oral History of the Crime Victim Assistance Field. This online video archive, hosted by the University of Akron, captures the evolution of the victims’ rights movement in the US. The archive recognizes more than 50 of the field’s pioneers who made historically significant contributions to this movement to assist victims of crime.
