Thirty brave volunteers from across
Ottawa showed their support for childhood cancer research on January 19 by shaving their heads at the fourth annual “Shave for a Cure” event at the
Ottawa 67s hockey game.
This fundraising event is a uOttawa Medical Student initiative. This year, students aimed to raise $30,000 for cancer research. All funds will be donated to the Childhood Cancer Foundation – Candlelighters Canada.
