After capturing the 2006 Ontario University Athletics (OUA) women’s soccer championship on November 5th in Kingston, the uOttawa Gee-Gees ran past the York University Lions 2-0 on November 12th to capture the bronze medal at the Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) women’s soccer championship in Victoria.
The 2006 campaign will go down in the books as one of the most memorable ones in recent history given that the Garnet and Grey captured the conference title and third at the national final with ten rookies in the line-up.
