Denis Piché, head coach of the University of Ottawa Gee-Gees football team, has been named coach of the year by Ontario University Athletics (OUA). It is the first time in Piché’s five-year tenure as the head coach of the Garnet and Grey that he has received the award.
The Montreal native guided Ottawa to its best regular season finish since 1998, capturing the regular season OUA championship for the first time in school history.
