Desmarais Building: top five floors to be fitted

The corner of Waller and Laurier is a hub of activity, with the construction of the Desmarais Building moving forward every day. At its meeting on October 30, the Board of Governors ratified a proposal to go ahead with the fitting of the top five floors of the building, at an estimated cost of $14.1 million. The work will be done by Pomerleau, the current general contractor.

The Desmarais Building will house the School of Political Studies, the School of Management, the Department of Economics and the Centre on Governance. The building is expected to open in fall 2007.
