Renowned dramatist Marco Micone has joined the Département des lettres françaises as a writer-in-residence for the 2006-2007 academic year. Marcone is the author of several plays, including
Addolarata. He has also translated several plays by Carlo Goldoni, Luigi Pirandello and Shakespeare.
