The Second Annual uOttawa Community Garage Sale will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2006 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Morisset Terrace. The sale will offer students an opportunity to purchase new or gently used household items at cheap prices. Unsold items will be donated to local charities.
The staff chapter of the Alumni Association is coordinating the event. All proceeds will be donated to the University of Ottawa Student-Meal Bursary Fund – a program initiated by the chapter. The food bursary program provides grocery vouchers to students in financial need.
