Saint Paul University will offer a study tour in Israel from June 6 to 17, 2006.
Participants will be visiting archaeological sites as well as studying scriptures and all manner of historical sources to gain a deeper understanding of the landscape of the Bible. In candid conversations with the rest of the group, students will also have the opportunity to share their own faith and traditions.
The tour will be led by Mina Cohn, a professor of biblical archaeology and biblical Hebrew at Saint Paul. A native of Israel, she has many years of field experience.
Students from other universities and other interested parties are welcomed to register. There are no pre-requisites for this credit course. The study tour is also accepting participants who do not wish to obtain the credit.
