Nominations sought for Young Researcher Award

The Young Researcher Award, established in 1995, is presented annually to a full-time faculty member in recognition of an outstanding contribution to research.

Nominees must not have held a faculty position for more than seven years and should have received their doctorate between 1996 and 2002. The recipient of the Young Researcher Award will receive $10,000 to support his or her research endeavours.

The deadline to submit nominations is March 3, 2006.

The selection committee will decide on the 2006 recipient in April.
