What is your most important function at the University?

Although I am the director of the Centre for University Teaching, I would say my most important function is teaching, because it’s a true passion.

What moment in your life gave you the most pride?

When my son announced to us that he wanted to spend a year working as a volunteer in Africa and Vietnam before going to university.

What would your colleagues be most surprised to learn about you?

That I am very shy.
