Students – CSL Professors Details

Since 1983 Kleinplatz has developed and taught over 50 sections of the University of Ottawa's Human Sexual Behaviour program. She has led directed studies and other courses for the School of Psychology and the Department of Women's Studies. She also enjoys teaching clinical skills for dealing with sexual difficulties in the Faculty of Medicine. In 2000 she was awarded the Prix d� Excellence for her teaching at the University of Ottawa. She is a Diplomate in Sex Therapy and is Board Certified as a Sex Therapist, Sex Therapy Supervisor and Sex Educator. She has published numerous articles focusing on sexual problems, sex therapy and eroticism and delivered presentations on a wide range of sexual topics. She serves on the Board of Directors of The American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapists. She Chairs the Health Professional Book Awards Committee of the Society for Sex Therapy and Research. Kleinplatz is the Editor of New Directions in Sex Therapy: Innovations and Alternatives (2001), and with Dr. Charles Moser of the forthcoming Powerful Pleasures (2006).
