Serge Durflinger

Assistant Professor in the Department of History, Prof. Serge Durflinger specializes in the study of war and Canadian society. Dr. Durflinger holds a doctorate from McGill University (Montreal), and served as a historian at the Canadian War Museum from 1998 to 2003. In addition to several published articles, he has published a book entitled Lest We Forget: A History of the Last Post Fund, 1909-1999, and a study on the effects of the Second World War on the city and the lives of citizens of Verdun, Quebec, which is to be published in 2006 by the University of British Columbia Press.
