Canada Sans Pauvreté/ Canada Without Poverty
Description:
Founded in 1971, Canada Without Poverty (CWP) is an incorporated, not-for-profit and non-partisan organization dedicated to the eradication of poverty in Canada. Governed by people who have experienced poverty, CWP works to address the structural causes of poverty and to promote lasting solutions to this challenge. CWP holds that poverty is a human rights violation, and that "security of the person" under the CCRF should be interpreted to incluse social security.
