Jeff Keshen

Jeffrey Keshen, a full professor in the History department, has made significant contributions to the field of twentieth-century Canadian political and military history, both as a teacher and as an author. He is the author or editor of 10 books, has acted as a consultant to institutions, including the Canadian Museum of Civilization and the Canadian War Museum, and is a frequent commentator in local, national and international media on Canadian military and political history. In 2004, he received the Excellence in Education award from the University of Ottawa. He is the architect and current manager of the University of Ottawa’s Community Service Learning program.
