MEDIA ADVISORY: Feminine Capital: Unlocking the Power of Women Entrepreneurs
OTTAWA,
November 13, 2015 —
The Telfer School of Management of the University of Ottawa invites the media to a panel discussion on women’s entrepreneurship. Panellists will discuss the impact of technology and policy on the ecosystem for women business owners.
This event will also mark the launch of a book titled Feminine Capital: Unlocking the Power of Women Entrepreneurs by Telfer faculty members Barbara Orser and Catherine Elliott. The authors take a fresh look at the intersection between entrepreneurship and feminism, documenting how female entrepreneurs are infusing business practice with new values while levelling the economic landscape, one venture at a time.
