MEDIA ADVISORY: Pink the Rink - uOttawa women’s hockey team tackles cancer

The Universityof Ottawa invites members of the media to a special women’s hockey game fundraiser between the Gee-Gees and the University of Montreal Carabins.
WHAT: Gee-Gees vs Carabins fundraiser game
WHEN: Sunday, November 15 at 2 p.m.
WHERE: uOttawa Minto Sports Complex (801 King Edward Avenue | map)
The Sports and Recreation Marketing Class (APA 4145) from the School of Human Kinetics at uOttawa is organizing the event to increase breast cancer awareness and raise funds for Breast Cancer Action Ottawa.
Students from the class are available for interviews.
To mark this event, the City of Ottawa has officially declared November 15 “Pink the Rink Day.”
