MEDIA ADVISORY: Justice or Just-Us? lecture by Claudette Commanda

OTTAWA, November 9, 2015  —  The Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Ottawa invites members of the media to a lecture on the status of First Nations.

As part of the first Criminology Week, Claudette Commanda, University of Ottawa Common Law Honour Society and Kitigan Zibi band council member, will speak on the struggle for justice for murdered and missing Aboriginal women across Canada. Angered by this situation and believing the federal government’s response to be inadequate, she continues to demand that justice be done.
