MEDIA ADVISORY: Positive Energy Conference
OTTAWA, November 5, 2015 — The University of Ottawa Positive Energy Project and the Economic Club of Canada invite members of the media to attend a conference on positive energy entitled the Positive Energy Big Ideas Energy Leaders Dialogue.
WHAT: A conference on positive energy, including remarks from Monica Gattinger
WHEN: Friday, November 6, at 11:30 a.m.
WHERE:Château Laurier, 1 Rideau Street, Ottawa
Panelists will discuss a number of “big ideas” that could help the country move past its current gridlock to address factors such as the environment, federalism and inter-regional relations, Aboriginal peoples and Canada’s energy system.

The Honorable Perrin Beatty, President and CEO, Canadian Chamber of Commerce, will be the moderator for this event.
Monica Gattinger, Chair, Positive Energy and Director, Institute for Science, Society and Policy at the University of Ottawa, will address the issues discussed.
