MEDIA ADVISORY: Announcement of the designation of the University of Ottawa under the French Language Services Act

On September 25, Franco-Ontarian Day, the University of Ottawa invites members of the media to a ceremony announcing the designation of the University of Ottawa under the French Language Services Act.
WHAT: Announcement of the designation of the University of Ottawa under the French Language Services Act of Ontario.
WHEN: Friday, September 25, 2015, at 9:30 a.m.
WHERE: Monument de la Francophonie, 50 University Private (pedestrian walkway between Simard Hall and Perez Hall) │map
Allan Rock, President and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ottawa, will attend this event, along Marie-France Lalonde, MPP for Ottawa-Orléans and Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister Responsible for Francophone Affairs; and Sébastien Grammond, Professor, Faculty of Law, Civil Law Section, University of Ottawa.
Members of the media will have an opportunity to conduct interviews following the announcement.
