MEDIA ADVISORY: iVote-jeVote series: The Role of Bilingual Institutions
OTTAWA,
June 2, 2015 —
The Jean-Luc Pepin Research Chair of the University of Ottawa invites members of the media to attend a panel discussion on the role that bilingual institutions play in official-language minority communities. Panellists will address theoretical issues surrounding institutional bilingualism and minority representation, the role of bilingual universities from a sociological perspective and the practical aspects of bringing about genuine institutional bilingualism.

This event is presented by iVote-jeVote, an initiative sponsored by the Jean-Luc Pepin Research Chair that aims to counter the drop in voter turnout in Canada, especially among underrepresented groups.
