MEDIA ADVISORY: uOttawa unveils first ever Alumni Hall with guest alumnus Alex Trebek
OTTAWA,
April 30, 2015 —
The University of Ottawa invites members of the media to the inauguration of its brand new Alumni Hall. Alex Trebek, alumnus and host of the popular game show Jeopardy!, will be present at the inauguration ceremony.
During the ceremony, the City of Ottawa will also officially proclaim University of Ottawa Alumni Week.
WHAT: Inauguration of the new Alumni Hall
WHEN: Tuesday, May 5, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

PARKING: Limited parking available for media behind Alumni Hall
For the first time since 1848, alumni will finally have their own home on campus. Located in the heart of the campus, the new hall will give uOttawa alumni of all ages a central place to meet and celebrate their years of study at the University.
