MEDIA ADVISORY: Consultations on uOttawa Campus Master Plan
OTTAWA, March 9, 2015 — The University of Ottawa will be holding consultations on its new Campus Master Plan at two open house events. Representatives from consulting firm Urban Strategies Inc. will be present to answer questions, and will give a presentation on the proposed project at the first open house.
The Campus Master Plan, which has been in the works since the fall of 2013, will apply to all property held by the University, including facilities at the Main, River and Alta Vista campuses. The plan will guide the development of new academic facilities, campus housing, open spaces, infrastructure, and amenities for students, faculty and staff.
Consultations on uOttawa Campus Master Plan
First session: Tuesday, March 10, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. with presentation at 7 p.m.

The Campus Master Plan will help ensure that future development, and the campus as a whole, enhances downtown Ottawa and the neighbourhoods surrounding the University. The two open houses will give students, staff and the wider community an opportunity to view the Campus Master Plan, ask questions and provide comments. The plan can also be viewed, and commented on, at www.uOttawamasterplan.ca.
