MEDIA ADVISORY: Walk of Two Bridges – One Campus, Two Bridges and a Good Cause
OTTAWA,
May 21, 2014 —
The University of Ottawa is holding its fifth annual Walk of Two Bridges in support of United Way. More than 300 University employees and students will walk to promote wellness, rally the uOttawa community, and raise money for the Student Aid Fund, which helps students in critical need or crisis situations.
What: The Walk of Two Bridges
When: Thursday, May 22, 2014, departures at noon and 12:15 p.m.
Where: The walk will start at the tunnel under the Campus OC Transpo bus stop.
Path: From the Corktown Pedestrian Bridge to Pretoria Bridge and back to the tunnel (path loops around the Rideau Canal)
