MEDIA ADVISORY: Proclamation of uOttawa Alumni Day by City of Ottawa
OTTAWA, May 7, 2014 — The University of Ottawa invites members of the media to the proclamation of uOttawa Alumni Day by Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson.
For the second year in a row, the City of Ottawa will pay tribute to the 90,000 University of Ottawa alumni who live and work in the National Capital Region.
Mayor Watson will present the official declaration to the Right Honourable Michäelle Jean, University chancellor, Allan Rock, University president, and Craig S. Haynes, University of Ottawa Alumni Association president.
The dignitaries will be joined by alumni, who will show their pride by wearing the University’s colours, garnet and grey.
