OTTAWA, April 17, 2013  —  Two University of Ottawa professors have received Quality of Life Research Grants from the Canadian Cancer Society. Professor Robert Klaassen’s research aims to assess the impact of treatments on the quality of life of patients with incurable blood disorders, and Professor Roanne Thomas will research factors that affect the breast cancer experiences of First Nations, Inuit and Métis women.
