Research Information:
I specialize in international human rights law, with a particular interest in feminist and decolonial theories of law. My doctoral research focuses specifically on truth and reconciliation commissions and the perceptions of victims, including survivors of sexual violence. My broader research interests concern women's experience of armed conflict and their involvement in the transitional justice process. I also teach a course at the Institute of Feminist and Gender Studies on the role of law, in Canada and internationally, in the emancipation or oppression of women.Areas of Expertise:
