My research focuses primarily on diversity, with a goal toward assessing the socioeconomic characteristics of language, immigrant and ethnic groups in Canada and other settler societies. I have looked at issues related to citizenship acquisition in Canada and Sweden as well as differences in outcomes for immigrants and minorities born in Canada.
