Research Information:
1) Intracerebral Hemorrhage (ICH). ICH is the most devastating form of stroke, resulting in the highest mortality and disability rates. My group is working towards a definitive treatment for ICH. 2) Neuroimaging & acute stroke. I believe advanced brain imaging can optimize acute stroke therapy, guide therapeutic decision-making, and expand our current treatment windows. 3) Stroke Recovery. We have launched a series of studies evaluating the use of mobile-platform technologies to enhance recovery from stroke while in the acute care hospital.Areas of Expertise:
