The Friel Residence is a wonderful place to be. It is a place where you can enjoy peace and quiet but also meet amazing friends. The building has many amenities including a large dining room/kitchen, a movie room, laundry, a game room, underground parking, etc. Each room is unique. My room is a single studio occupancy with lots of storage space and a convenient layout. The room includes a single bed, 4 drawer dresser, desk, kitchenette, 2 closets, and a bathroom with a shower. I currently do not have pictures but I will be back in Ottawa on October 1st if anyone requires pictures! Keep in mind, the residence is 15 minutes off-campus but right off the main downtown strip (Rideau Street). Some places close by are Loblaws, convenience stores, many food and clothing stores, The ByWayrd Market, Rideau Centre, etc.
