The people of Haiti continue to face inconceivable conditions as they struggle in the aftermath of the recent earthquake.

The uOttawa family is making every effort to help those within our community who are affected. Several on- and off-campus services and associations have mobilized to offer resources for those affected by this tragedy. Community members are also looking at immediate and long-term relief efforts as the Haitian people struggle to recover and have as a result, established a number of fundraising initiatives on campus.

On January 28, 2010, the University of Ottawa hosted an expert panel discussion to help us better understand some of the difficulties and challenges that have taken hold in Haiti since the devastating earthquake there.
