Lucie Mercier-Gauthier, associate vice-president for financial services, is the recipient of the Ken Clements Award from the Canadian Association of University Business Officers (CAUBO).
The award recognizes an outstanding contribution to higher education management. Mercier-Gauthier is well known for the significant and extended leadership she has provided nationally as one of the founding members of CAUBO’s Treasury Committee.
Meanwhile, the former vice-rector of resources, Carole Workman is the new executive director of CAUBO, since November 1, 2005.
Founded in 1937, CAUBO is a non-profit professional organization representing the interests of administrative and financial officers in Canadian universities and affiliated colleges.
