Starting June 26th, 2005, Marie-Curie Street will undergo major reconstruction of the City of Ottawa water main system and the University of Ottawa sewage system. In view of the scope of the construction, it is to be expected that traffic will be somewhat disrupted on Marie-Curie Street, between June 26th and August 29th, 2005.
In order to ease the flow of traffic, to maintain access to campus and to ensure everyone’s safety, the work will be done in 3 phases. Traffic signs will be installed to ease the flow of pedestrian and vehicular traffic throughout the construction period.
We would like to remind pedestrians and motorists alike of the importance of respecting signage and instructions that will be given, in order to ensure everyone’s safety.
