The University welcomes the recent federal government announcement regarding international students and their employment opportunities in Canada.
Citizenship and Immigration Canada is in the process of allowing all international students the opportunity of working off-campus, something previously not allowed.. Also, the government will extend the duration of post-graduate work permits for international students from one year to two years.
With these changes, international students will be able to gain valuable work experience by joining Canadians in the workforce during and after the completion of their academic programs.
