Talent and imagination blended with the fall foliage on October 8, during the 2nd annual Arts Walk competition. Visual arts students took over the sidewalks on campus and turned them into outstanding works of art. Working in pairs, students armed with chalk were given two hours to complete a drawing on the theme “University of Ottawa, Canada’s university”. Participants had to work within a four-metre-square space. The winning team made up of Rachael Doran and Justine Chan, whose entry appears above, received a $600 prize.
