As part of the week-long Winter Challenge, 250 teams of four students (two male, two female) faced a different ice-filled challenge each day putting their speed, strength and smarts to the test. Each member of the winning team received an all-inclusive trip to the Dominican Republic during the February 2005 spring break.
Another event, “La Guerre des Tuques” pitted student teams from six faculties in a competition to build a snow castle over a 24-hour period. Their creations were judged on physical structure, overall appearance and originality.
