OHRI officers win life sciences awards

Two staff members of the Ottawa Health Research Institute are among the five winners of a 2004 Ottawa Life Sciences Council award.

Dr. Antoine Hakim, director of OHRI’s Neuroscience Research Program received the Career Achievement Award for his foresight and efforts in developing the Canadian Stroke Network.

OHRI’s chief operating officer Robert Hanlon received the Entrepreneur Award for his support of commercialization and his role in the development of the Institute.
