CASCO, the School of Management students' charity organization, along with University staff and members of the community, came together November 25th for one very stylish evening. The 6th Annual Smiles and Styles Fashion Show for CHEO featured a four-course dinner, silent and live auctions and a highly anticipated fashion show. Given the huge demand for tickets, CASCO added a Preview Night, which was held on November 24th.
Over the years, the idea has resulted in real financial help for the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario raising over $75,000. This year the students raised just over $16,000.
CASCO was founded in 1998 by students Alexandre St-Jean and Tuan Nguyen in memory of their friend Eric Danis who died from leukemia. It promotes social responsibility among students. |
