Professor Michael Geist, of the Common Law Section, has received an IWAY Award for his public leadership in promoting innovation in the area of information technology.
The award was given by CANARIE, Canada’s advanced Internet organization, a not-for-profit corporation established in 1993 with the support of Industry Canada. Geist, who holds the Canada Research Chair in Internet and E-commerce Law, is recognized as Canada’s foremost expert in Internet law.
