TVO recently announced its final list of nominees for Ontario’s Best Lecturer competition. Among the names are three part-time University of Ottawa professors: Gene Assad, Jennifer Kasper and Deborah Landry.
Gene Assad, of the Faculty of Law, Civil Law Section, teaches criminal evidence and procedure; Jennifer Kasper, of the Department of Geography, teaches hydrology and geomorphology; and Deborah Landry teaches in the Department of Criminology.
The competition is part of TVO’s annual Big Ideas series. TVO will begin airing the top ten lectures at the end of February 2009.
