E-waste drive success

As part of Earth Day on April 22, the Sustainable Development and Sustainable Transportation programs offered an electronic waste drive. E-waste includes electronic goods such as printers, computers, cell phones and chargers.

Sustainability Coordinator Jonathan Rausseo reported the drive collected an impressive array of goods at the drop-off points at the Unicentre and at Roger Guindon Hall. Items included:  34 printers, 45 PCs, 54 keyboards, 56 monitors and 844 batteries

All items will be recycled or properly disposed of in the most eco-friendly way possible.
