Created in 2007, the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs (GSPIA) regularly invites guest speakers to explore topical events.

On February 7, GSPIA and the Centre for International Policy Studies presented (from left to right) Roland Paris, director, International Policy Studies; Melissa Haussman, associate professor, Political Science, Carleton University; Michael Kergin, senior fellow, GSPIA and Canada’s former Ambassador to the US; and Jeffrey Simpson, senior fellow, GSPIA and Globe and Mail columnist to debate The Race for the US Presidency.
