Are you interested in learning more about the University’s expertise in information technology (IT)? Mark your calendar for the second annual IT Fair on January 31, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. This event, which will be held at the University Centre, is aimed at faculty, staff and students.
The fair features:
• Poster sessions in which presenters explain their work related to information technology
• Tours of some unique computing facilities on campus, including the CCS machine room where the central servers are located
• Presentations in which speakers will share their experience with different information technologies
New this year is the IT Fair for uOttawa IT Professionals. The second day (Friday, February 1) of presentations and discussions is for uOttawa IT professionals only.
Attendees will leave with ideas they can use in their own faculties and services, including web design/building, lab setup-management and office setup.
