Under the expert guidance of professor emerita of biochemistry Nicole Bégin-Heick, who acted as Master of Ceremonies, the Faculty of Medicine Awards of Excellence 2007 took place on December 12, at Roger Guindon Hall.
Launched in 1990, the awards recognize students, professors and support staff for their outstanding achievement or contribution to the faculty in research, scholarship, education or other contributions to the Faculty of Medicine.

The ceremony also featured Dr. Constant Nucci, an alumnus, as guest speaker. Dr. Nucci currently serves on the Board of Governors of Montreal’s St. Mary’s Hospital Centre.
