Students of the Biotechnology Seminar (BCH 4172) were pleased to welcome President Gilles Patry as a guest lecturer on March 2. President Patry shared his considerable knowledge of the wastewater engineering field with the biotechnology students.
The class has welcomed a variety of guest speakers over the course of the academic year. Previous lecturers presented topics ranging from patent law to agricultural biotechnology.
Patry’s lecture was an excellent finish to the guest lecture component of the course, as students prepare to present their business plans for a start-up biotech company. The biotechnology students thank President Patry for his informative lecture, and they look forward to building on the insights gained from all the lectures as they work on their own presentations.
