During University 101 week, on September 5, students hit the streets for Shinerama, a fundraising campaign that aids cystic fibrosis (CF) research.
In 2005, the University of Ottawa was one of the leading schools with our fundraising efforts for Shinerama. Last year the Student Federation of the University of Ottawa (SFUO) raised $83,000 as part of this nationwide campaign. SFUO hopes to meet this year’s new $100,000 target.
Shinerama students across Canada have raised more than $16.5 million to support the fight against cystic fibrosis since the campaign began in 1964.
