Dr. Jacques Bradwejn, chair of the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Medicine and Chief of Psychiatry at The Ottawa Hospital and the Royal Ottawa Hospital, is the interim dean of the University’s Faculty of Medicine. The appointment was effective on July 1, 2006.
“We are very pleased that Dr. Bradwejn has agreed to lead the faculty while the search for a new dean continues,” said President Gilles Patry.
Dr. Bradwejn takes over from Dr. Peter Walker, who recently completed an 11-year term as dean of the Faculty.
