Survey on Academic Integrity
The University of Ottawa Centre for University Teaching (CUT) has been examining the issue of academic integrity for several years. In the winter of 2003, led by Christian Blanchette, director of the Teaching and Learning Support Service (TLSS), and Aline Germain-Rutherford, at the time director of the CUT, the University conducted a survey among students and faculty members to determine their perceptions on academic integrity and on what actions could be taken to maintain it and the values underlining it.
A total of 1,400 undergraduate students, 194 graduate students, 177 professors and 57 teaching assistants participated in the survey. Read some of the main findings.
