Academic integrity is imperative and this is why the University of Ottawa is actively promoting it. This Web site provides both students and faculty members with information and tools that will help them identify and avoid the pitfalls of academic fraud as well as understand its consequences.
We invite you to browse this site and consult the new tools that have been developed and added since its launch:
- The Academic Integrity Quiz was designed to help students learn about important concepts related to academic integrity.
- The Regulation on Academic Fraud section was updated and now includes information on the recently approved Regulation on the Accelerated Process for Academic Fraud Cases.
- A series of Guidelines for Preventing Cheating during Examinations were developed to help professors and examination invigilators recognize, prevent and address such situations.
- A Frequently Asked Questions section was added to provided clarification on some important topics related to academic integrity.
- The Academic Integrity Student’s Guide is a new brochure that has been recently added to the site and that includes useful information, examples and links on the subject.
