Membership

CSLSR Ottawa memberships for students are 15$, last 365 days, which includes the National CSLSR Membership.

What do students get?

You may gain student membership and submit current research as a M.Sc. or Ph.D. candidate, or as an M.D. candidate or undergraduate student completing a thesis project/summer research project in a life science area from any recognized Canadian university or affiliated institution/hospital.

Suggested areas of research include (but are not limited to) anatomy and cell biology, biochemistry, biomedical engineering, immunology, molecular biology, neuroscience, pathology, pharmacology, physiology, psychology, community health and epidemiology pertaining to the following specializations:

• Cardiovascular (Heart and Blood Vessels)
• Gastrointestinal
• Infectious diseases
• Musculoskeletal
• Neurological (Brain, Spinal Cord, Nerves) & Endocrine (Hormones)
• Oncology
• Renal (Kidneys and Bladder)
• Reproductive
• Respiratory

Student members will receive discounts for our annual conference, access to submit to our quarterly newsletters and email updates online, as well as discounts for use of our affiliate company services.
